Model: Archer BE9300
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

So I recently switched from Spectrum to Lumos Fiber. The modem/router they provided me has 4x1Gig ports and 1x 10Gig port. I've tried running a Cat 6 cable directly from that port to my PC which has a 2.5gig port on the motherboard and it won't connect. I have also tried connecting the BE9300 to the Modem through the 10gig port and then running an ethernet cable from one of the 2.5gig ports on the router to my PC and still nothing. I'm not sure what I need to do to get this 10gig port to even work. Hoping someone can help

  @NyteFalll Double check that the 10 GB port is not a WAN port, that is usually how these routers are set up.  LAN ports will say LAN next to them and the WAN port will say WAN or Internet.

  @DVair Modem

I believe it is a WAN port. But my understanding of the WAN port was you connect this port to the TP Link routers WAN port, which I did but then nothing gets any internet when plugging into the other 2.5 LAN ports on the TP-Link router. From a little more research I may be missing putting the original router/modem combo into a bridge mode, but I'm not sure how to get this done.

  @NyteFalll Since you got it from the ISP, it would be best to ask them about how it is set up.  Knowing them they probably have stuff disabled.
