Model: Deco X50-PoE
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

If I had a mesh network consisting of 2 BE95's (wifi7, different parts of the house), could I use X50-PoE units as bridges to hardwire equipment in other parts of the house?

The full scenario:

- 1 BE95 next to modem and a group of A/V equipment in Location 1

- 1 BE95 upstairs with a group of equipment in Location 2

- Location 3 needing connectivity (PoE switch connected to a group of equipment/cameras), but not wanting to pay the price of a full BE95 unit

- Location 4 in the same situation as 3

Can I use an X50-PoE in Locations 3 and 4 to simply bridge the wireless signal into the switches of those locations? I don't need the actual mesh (expanding a wifi network) capability in those locations.

  @ellis2x

I assume you have no Ethernet connectivity between locations 1/2 and locations 3/4.

If the X50-PoE in Locations 3 and 4 have wifi connectivity with locations 1 or 2, the X50-POE will extend the mesh, and will as well allow connecting the local switches to the mesh (as a bridge would do).
