Hi, Kevin —

It wasn't with the TV, it was things like videos on say social media for example just hanging, posts/pages failing to load, etc. Sometimes this still seems to be an issue, but haven't narrowed it down further beyond just switching to cellular when it happens. There is a RE715X extender as well, connected by wireless as it doesn't support wired backhaul which is what I bought it for.

Speaking of which, if you can tell me if any of the range extenders such as this one or the newer RE655BE will be supporting ethernet backhaul, that'd be helpful since the website is useless (says the latter RE is "coming soon" even though it's been available at Best Buy for months, and costs more than my BE550 which makes zero sense).

Thanks

Skye

An issue i experienced yesterday on this router/firmware (BE550)

I have had this for a short time and it auto updated to this firmware when i received it so i cant speak on the other wifi speed issues, but, I initially set it up with smart connect turned off (separate 2.5 and 5ghz) im also using an AX10 as an Easymesh node which was working fine (wired connection).

yesterday i enabled smart connect, some my devices would connect ok as long as the easymesh node was powered off, as soon as i powered on the AX10 node, nothing would connect, all devices (including the IOT network) would fail with "can't get ip address or something similar" or wouldn't connect at all. Including my phone and laptop connecting directly to the BE550 via wifi 6e. I fought with this for nearly 2 hours, factory reset both devices and tried again, same issues. i factory reset them again but created separate 2.5 and 5 ghz SSID, everything connected, plugged in the AX10 as a node again, and all was and still is working fine.
