Model: Deco XE5300
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.5 Build 20231225 Rel. 58766

So I know the app will apparently present VLAN ID option for the Guest Network when you have the Deco units wired together. https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2317/

My question, does it work when 2 of them are wired and 1 is wirelessly uplinked as well?

Trying to plan a network reconfiguration and I can easily get 2 units wired, but 1 is not really possible, and frankly doesn't really need the bandwidth of wired back haul.

P.s. can the absolutely horrible fourms based spell check be disabled, it sucks and prevents Chrome and im sure other browsers from providing thier MUCH better spell checker.

@Napsterbater I understand that the option only allows changing the ID of the VLAN.  This is not about activating the use of VLAN.

I believe it is only useful to change that ID when you use a managed switch, hence the option is visible only when two Deco are interconnected by cable.

I do not expect that changing the ID of the VLAN would prevent using wifi to interconnect several Deco, or to mix Ethernet and wifi backhaul.
