what, if any, outdoor access points would be compatible with XE5300's? I have power outside to plug into, however no ethernet. It woud have to be wireless and be able to integrate into the mesh hardware.
Since you are already running a Deco Mesh, you will want to look towards the Deco X50 - Outdoor. This model is meant for outdoor use and can be powered via PoE or via a traditional power adapter.
With the X50 Outdoor, you can use the wireless backhaul feature to extend your Deco mesh outdoors without the need for a wired data connection.As an FYI, you may look into powering the device with PoE as it may be more convenient for wiring, and your Deco can still communicate with the wireless backhaul.
There are other options for outdoor APs, but they either require a wired connection or additional hardware, and would need to work separately from your existing mesh.
