Model: Archer BE900
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20230523 rel.35975(5553)

If I connect my desktop computer 2.5Gbe directly to my internet modem I get 2300 Mbps which is correct, BUT if I connect my internet into the BE900 10GB port and then my desktop computer to a 2.5GBe port of the BE900, I barely get 900 Mbps.

What is going on? I have nothing else connected to the LAN of the BE900.

Please help! I like the unit but if is not able to properly distribute my internet speed I am going to have to change it for something that does.

Hi, could you please click the router icon on Network Map page of the Archer BE900 web interface?

Then check Ethernet Status part to see if the WAN and LAN ports negotiation speed are correct or not. If any port is limited to 1Gbps only, please try to change a new Ethernet cable and make sure the same cable works on 2.5G speed when the computer connects directly to the ISP modem.

By the way, may I know the model no. of your internet modem and also the 2.5G network adapter of your desktop computer? and who is your ISP please?
