Portforwarding through a Extender
I want to run a Minecraft server from my computer but I have to forward it through a Extender.
My Setup is Router to Extender and via cable to my computer.
I am not really experienced so I would appreciate a step by step guide.
Thanks in advance!

Any kind of setup that is required will be done on the Main router for the network, as this will be the device controlling the ports. The Range Extender is simply copying the signal and then broadcasting it.
I will warn you that, as a result of the nature of Range Extenders, you may have a suboptimal experience because of how an RE communicates with the router.
Also, in terms of your Minecraft server, are you trying to make the server accessible to people outside of your network, or simply from devices connected to your home network? If you are not looking to have players from the internet join, you may not even need to change any ports.

I want my friends to be able to join from their homes so it would have to be outside my home network.
The router is a Archer C7. My Problem is I tried setting up a normal port forward as I would if my device was directly connected but it didn't work.
Sadly I have no Idea on how to set up the port forward so that the signal is sent over the extender and then to my computer.

If you set the ports on your router already, there is some disconnect that is preventing your router from correctly identifying your PC as the IP that needs the ports. The range extender will simply forward the signal, so it doesn't need to have any ports configured. Instead, I believe that the Range Extender is managing the devices(not connections) and sending an alternative MAC address.
Looks like another user has had almost the exact same question a while ago, and one of my coworkers answered it pretty thoroughly: Using port forwarding through a RE450 wifi extender
It looks like you have to find your device in the router settings by MAC address, rather than using the MAC address normally used for the PC

I saw the other post already but I couldn't figure out where to put the MAC address.
My problem is probably that im confusing the different types of addresses there are.
Right now I have my port forward set up so that the Internal IP is my IPv4 for example (192.0. 2.146 ) .
As far as i understand the MAC address is the Physical address something like (00:00:5e:00:53:af) .
Is this correct? If so where do I put the MAC? If not how exactly do I find it?
