Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.4

I have a TL-SG1016DE plugged into a port on the AX6000. The router is configured to IP address 192.168.1.1, the TL-SG1016DE is 192.1.1.3 - yet the client list displayed on the AX6000 never shows this device. I can log into the switch to administer the settings normally. Do I need to configure the router or the switch to properly show this device?

Try the following:

Reserve an IP address in your AX6000 for the TL-SG1016DE - 192.168.1.3 (Network=>DHCP Server=> Address reservation).

Set your TL-SG1016DE IP address like this:

d588d76d2e204dcda6aa9b4608e0421c

Then TL-SG1016DE will receive its reserved IP address '192.168.1.3' from the AX6000, then check the AX6000 client list to see if TL-SG1016DE is present.

@terziyski well - this works for making the TL-SG1016DE appear in the DHCP Client list on the Network->DHCP Server page... but it does not show up on the Wired Clients list on the Advanced or Basic view. Also the name is blank.

Perhaps I've misinterpreted your description - I was thinking you were talking about DHCP Client list.

If it's about Network Map => Wired devices I don't believe the switch will be counted as a client there.

I have several easy smart switches (different models) in my network and non of them is registered in the Network Map => Wired Clients on the router.

There's no specific configuration for this (on the switch itself) to be changed.
