Model: Archer AX73

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20211125 rel.59476(4555)

I've just purchased an AX73 in Australia from a big brand retail store, and they sold me an EU V1 which is ok I thought except it appears it's missing 5Ghz Wi-Fi Channels greater than 128(DFS).

I wondered if it was just the firmware country version, but navigating to the Australian TP-Link support firmware pages gives me US firmware and I can't flash it as it gives me an error when trying.

Will it be available in a firmware update or?

So each region manages its own assests. Frimware is typically regionally lock, which would explain the error you are getting. Because this specific community and its management team only cover US models i would recommend two fold apporach. 1. post this thread on the global communinty https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/32 and reach out to AU support Either should be able to address the US FW on the AU site and what channels should be avaialble on the EU version of the router.
