Hello I have a small network. Below is a lite diagram.

I have been successful in getting internet access on 192.168.2.0 network. The router (R2) for that network is tp-link ER605 in case that is relevant.

I am able to ping from R2 and my laptop off it to anything in network 192.168.1.0 + access the internet.

However, I cannot communicate with anything on 192.168.2.0 from 192.168.1.0.

I have gone through and tried setting up multiple different static routes to the 192.168.2.0 network but nothing seems to work.

How would you set it up?

I used variations of default gateway from 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.201, and 0.0.0.0 but none would work.

The only thing I can think of is changing a port to WAN/LAN and use that port on R2. But does that actually make a difference?

I just thought that would only cause the port to be able to swap over between WAN or LAN depending on the connection, but it would still need to be a WAN IP for that network to get internet access.
