Hello all, 

While setting up my new Router Archer A9 and in the middle of it Firmware upgrade, the home electricity got interrupted and so now the device is not letting me connect to it, or do anything. The lights on when turned on are on/off, the Ethernet connected and the last light "WPS" one (pic below), which is never turning off.

 

I cannot do a hard reset by pressing the Reset button for more than 10 seconds, as it is not doing anything. Or i'm not doing it right as i'm only pressing the button

 

Can i reapply the firmware somehow without having access to the page tplinkwifi.net? or do something else?

 

Any idea will be very welcomed!

Hello all, 

so you know, thanks to the help of TP-Link support (Hugo) the Router was restored to fabric.

He shared these links that fixed the issue:

I followed the video and worked perfectly, but the forum link has the same info

There is a firmware recovery method you can try here:

Should that fail I would recommend reaching out to our support team.

Hi @Tony 

Thanks for your reply. I've been trying this and some other alternatives in the last days without any luck at all.

It simply does not connect, nothing, it is completely inaccessible. 

 

I've sent an email to support, lets see if i'm lucky.

Will post here if i can finally fix it.
