Model: AC50
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 0.2 v0093.0 Build 200608 Rel.66307n(4555)

Hey folks.

Its been a while, since the HTTPD server was updated.

When having HTTPS enabled, the HTTPD server is using REALLY OUTDATED security protocols.
In fact, it is using ONLY TLSv1.0.

Could we have an firmware update, enabling TLSv1.2?

This will be a major problem, since Google Chrome and Firefox both dislike SSLv3/TLSv1.0/TLSv1.1, and they will be soon deprecated fully.

Are there any chances of future update, addressing the TLS version?
I have emailed before the support, but they said they are not aware of such plans, and will ask the developers. No answer after that.

EDIT: Seems like it wont be that easy.
The used OpenSSL is version 0.9.8 !!!

Thats from 2005. Why are modern routers using something so ancient?

@ku4eto

Other than support, another avenue that is available is here: https://www.tp-link.com/bg/press/security-advisory/

You are able to submit feedback with respect to router security here. This will go to our security team that handles any potential security threats.
