I'd go with the EAP225-Outdoor, you would mount it somewhere outside, and it send out an omnidirectional signal: https://www.tp-link.com/us/business-networking/ceiling-mount-access-point/eap225-outdoor/

Is there a way to improve the distance/range on the EAP? perhaps replacing one of the antennas with a stronger one? if so, any recommendations?

Unfortunately, we do not have alternative options for antennas.
