Some things to try. Be sure you are using the power adapter that came with the router. Disconnect any USB devices from the router, and all other devices except one PC. Be sure the modem is connected to the correct port. Power cycle all by powering down the modem, router and PC and then power up the modem, wait for it to stabilize, then power up the router and wait for it to stabilize, then power up the PC. See if you can get to the routers user interface. You may need to clear your browser history and cookies as it may think it is trying to connect to the old router, you can also try using a different browser and/or PC. Use the sign on info on the label and user guide. If http://www.tplinklogin.net/ does not work, try 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1. Once in, set up your WIFI. If using the same WIFI name as the old router. you may need to delete (forget) the network on the device and re-add it to get them to work.

Another thing. Be sure to use good Ethernet cables. We have had a poster report that a new one that came with the router was bad.

Also, your modem might not be recognizing the router. Leave the router on, and only reboot the modem, that will get internet to it.
