I just set up my new Range Extender model RE650 and I cannot get it to connect to the 5GHz wifi on my TP-Link AC1750 router. I tried multiple times but it never connects. Any thoughts?

Use the Tether app to set up the extender, but first default the extender by holding the reset for 15 seconds while it is on. Here is the FAQ for setup: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1373/
If the wireless router has the same name for the 2.4G and 5G try to make them different. If the 5G still does not connect, modify the wireless channel for the 5G to specify a channel.
