@Victor-Llamas

Might be the red mixing with the blue.

When that happens to that node look at your app to see if that node is still online. Tap the globe icon to see all the listed Deco units. If the app is showing normal, and devices are connected and working, then the LEDs may be odd.

@Vcunha

Hi, thank you very much for your feedback.

I think whether they are connected via a wireless mesh or powerline mesh via an electric network is not related.

Could you please help me check more details about this issue:

Did all the P9 have a purple LED or just the satellite units?

How long have you had P9 and did this issue start right after the setup?

Would this unit stay on purple all the time, or it is solid white most of the time, sometimes changing to purple?

Have you tried to reset the unit once before to see whether the issue still continued?

@TP-Link

Hi thanks for your help.

I had just buy the 3 pack P9. It have it at two days.

From the tree modules, just one is in this state. It is the most distante from main unit.

I had try do disconnect the power and connect again.

In terms of speed and stability of the signal are working fine, just this purple color, and on app no alerts are show, and the tree modules are online.

On start , it change from red blinking to purple constant.

All the other from red blinking to white constant.

I will try to move it more near to main unit to check if color change, and after i will give feedback.

@TP-Link

Hi

I test again the module.

This module on startup show fixed red color, after red color blinking, and after show purple

on aplication, is all online and all normal:

.

On the module with purple color also all normal

.

I try to reset the module and put it near other that is with white color, but it remain with purple color.

Also i had try to change this modul to be the main one. Also in this mode it remains with purple color, with the system working normal. Could be somme error on the firmware? Its possuble to reset this module to factory firmware and after upgrade again?

Any other ideias?

@Vcunha

Hi, thank you very much for getting back to me.

I see that all your 3 units are on the same 1.1.3 firmware and it is not like a software issue, more like the welding mistake.

Since you just bought the kit, you could consider returning the unit and getting a new kit.

Or since the purple light does not affect the normal usage, you could also keep the unit and monitor for a while to see if there is any further issue.

Thank you again for your time and patience.

@Vcunha

Hi, I see it does not have a yellow LED, only red and purple.

After the previous reset, did you see the pulsing blue LED?

I suppose the yellow and red lights are somehow mixed together then It gives us the purple light.

By the way, did you send me the MAC address and SN number before?

If not, would you mind sending them to me again?

Thank you very much.

@TP-Link

I hadd receive a email outside this forum directly to my email and i had send this. Mac serial video and buy purchase. I will atach the mac and serial. In my opinion is there were a mistake o  the led soldering. On this module i never had the yellow light or blue, always red and purple.
