I just bought an archer c4000, I have a 1008D switch I have had for about 1 year. I have been reading about Link Aggregation om my new router, and I was wondering if the throughput to my 1008D would increase if I connected it to an aggregated port?

No it will not. The switch will need to also support link aggration.

@PinTwister

Thanks for your reply. You just saved me a lot of dead-end trials.

Could you answer this for me? I picked the router up to move it to another location and heard a rattling inside the case. It sounds like a screw or nut that has come loose. Is it hard to open the case so I can find out what it is? I can't seem to find any case screws anywhere.

Might possibly be a transister that broke off. There should not be any rattling that may be something to contact our support team about.

@Tony

But How about the AX3000/AX50 to use Lan3 & Lan4 connect to Managed Switch that support dynamic/static and Active/Passive modes. ?

Or, just can support Lan# & Lan4 to connect to NAS that support Link aggregation ?
