Archer AX6000 + iPhone 11 Pro (802.11ax enabled)
Hi, I am having problems with my WiFi network. Even my iPhone 11 Pro which supports AX standard gets connection dropped at some distance and then an "Incorrect Password" pops up when trying to reconnect. If I move closer to the router, it will connect without a problem.
I de-activated AX for my 5Ghz band and disabled Smart Connect. Now the network is much more consistent as if the problem is solved. I just wanted to let you guys on TP-Link know that there could be an issue on the AX standard for both 2.4 and 5Ghz bands... I would expect a new firmware update would solve this problem for sure so just wanted to give this feedback in order to help improve your router... thanks!

Thank you for sharing. Can you share a bit more information so i can forward this to the sorftware team? They will need to know roughly how many devices you have on each band, Your ISP and speed connection package, What type of ethernet cable you are using to connect the router to the modem and the current firmware build you are on.

@Carl Hi, thanks for your response... I have at the most 20 devices connected to the router (only one of them is an iPhone 11 Pro which is the only AX enabled device I currently own) mostly the device count are somehow balanced let's say 8 devices on 2.4Ghz band and 12 devices on 5Ghz band when we're all home and connected.
My internet speed connection from the optic fiber from my ISP is 300Mbps and the cable I am using is Cat 7. (I thought maybe the ethernet cable could be an issue, I had an Cat 5e before so I changed to Cat 7 a couple of days ago but that did no change).
My current firmware is version 1.0.6 Build 20190822 (which is the latest I believe)

@JoelS Hi, well no. The solution was to disable AX on both bands... so the router is closed in the box as useless junk. I purchased an ASUS AX11000 and works perfectly... TP-Link was a true disappointment on this one...

@djviko Interesting, as I bought the iPhone 11 Pro when it came out and it has worked fine on every firmware I've used on on AX6000 (I've used them all). I am connected on 5GHz and have ax enabled.

@westranm or others... I just installed the AX6000 today to replace the insufficient router that came with the gateway for my fiber 1G service. But, after fiddling with various wireless settings (yes ax is enabled on both 2.4 & 5GHz, and I'm using Smart Connect) I can only get about 300-400Mbps tops on my iPhone 11, even when right next to the router. Wired connections are getting near the full 1Gig speed. Super disappointed in the WiFi 6 ax speeds with iPhone 11s and an AX network card laptop...especially given all the great product reviews for the AX6000. Anyone else figure out how to fix the AX6000 settings, etc. to get closer to Gig speeds on ax compatible devices? Help?!?! Thanks in advance.
