Slow file transfer between clients on LAN?
I have been using my 3 Deco M9 Plus for about 6 months and they work great but there one problem. Whenever i fransfer a file from one client to another the speed rarley goes above 100mbit. The clients are connected to eth on the Deco's and the speeds are the same no matter what protocoll i use FTP,SMB. All my clients reaches speeds of 250mbit to the internet so the network seems to work fine besides the slow client to client file transfer.
Is this normal or am i missing someting here?

The performance reported before was the resulting of copying a file using curl from a Windows shared folder:

I did another set of tests using my laptop with my win10 PC as server both machines connected on ETH.
The first test both machines connected to the same slave DECO. The second test connected to the other slave DECO. The third test connected to the Main Deco
As you see the speed is somewhat acceptable in the first test using the same slave DECO but drops dramatically when i connect it to another DECO.

@Tony I have been looking for a way to test wifi lan speeds for file transfer. If using Win 10 for source and destination for a file transfer, I typically get speeds ~20Mbps (bytes not bits) as displayed on the File Explorer dialog box.
I now use LANBench which is easy and confirms the numbers obtained per above with File Explorer.
I've tested using two different WiFi routers (advertised with WiFi speeds of ~866Mbps) and with wifi adapter clients that can handle (again advertised) 300-600Mbps.
Seems to me the advertised numbers apply to Internet only (my broadband is 110Mbps) and the WiFi matches that speed (likely could go higher to the advertised speed).
For me it was a bit of a surprise to see WiFi lan speeds at 2 orders of magnitude less than advertised. The bottle neck for WiFi lan transfers appears to be in the router itself.
Perhaps LANBench can be of use.
Any other experience testing WiFi lan speeds appreciated.
