RE350k clients can't get IP address
Unable to obtain an IP address when connected to the extender.
RE350k ---<>--- EAP225 ---<>--- router (DHCP) ----<>--- internet
If I connect to the EAP225 I get an IP address but when trying to connect to the RE350K I get an error "error optaining IP address"
Any idea why the extender can't get IP?

After you set up the RE350K to connect to the EAPs Wi-Fi what is the color of the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz?
If you were to bypass the EAP, and set the extender up directly to the router does that work? (Just to test)

Both lights are green. The unit gets a DHCP IP address from the router but the clients won't.
I can't connect the extender to the router, it has no wireless, I only have the EAP225 access point.

Is there another wireless network you can connect the extender to? Mainly to see if the issue follows the extender.

I may get the chance to try another wireless network this weekend. If I do I'll post the status here.
I also found the router is getting the dhcp requests and is replying, but the acknolegdement is not gett back to the extender. I dont know of any way to get that kinda long from the EAP225 to see what it does when it get the ack bback from the router for a MAC on connected though the extender.

Using the extender on another wifi was not much better. It would intermittently get an IP, then later loose the IP. If you disconnect and re-connect it would fail to get an IP address but if you waited a while then try reconnecting it would get an IP. I found this issue using both the 2.4 and 5 ghz bands, however the 2.4ghz network was more relable.

Sounds like there is an issue with the extender.
Probably would be best at this point to get in touch with our techincal support.

You are very welcome, generally if troubleshooting by them does not resolve the issue they can move on to the starting the replacement procedure (RMA).
