AC1750 RE450 Firmware (RE450(US)_V2_171220) fails checksum

I've tried downloading (from: https://www.tp-link.com/us/download/RE450.html#Firmware) and installing the firmware file mentioned above a couple times on two different machines.
Each time after clicking "Upgrade", it fails with a check sum error during install.
How can this be corrected?
