Model : Archer C3150

Hardware Version :

Firmware Version :

ISP : Comcast

I picked up the C3150 shortly after launch and had intermittent, but annoying, issues with the 5Ghz channel flaking out randomly. I was emailed a beta firmware from support that fixed the wireless issues but now I have to power down or reset once a week from where all connections, wired or wireless, slow to an absolute crawl.

I am beyond the return date on the router by quite a bit. There has been no more work on fixing the issues with the router. The v2 edition has received several updates, including major functionality updates. Those of us who paid to be glorified hardware beta testers are left with nothing.

Is it time to recognize that I have a pretty paperweight and find something that will actually receive long-term care?

Hi AshG, it is better to do some troubleshooting with TP-Link Support . If TP-Link Support can't fix the C3150 V1 issue, you can ask for replacement for V2

I would like to ask about 2.4GHZ signal seems really not really updated to the latest test version or will be a little bit of the fluttering signal! C3150 V1 manufacturers will make people replace the V2 somewhat doubt?

Not sure, but you can have a try. To change the channel and channel width to 20MHz may make 2.4G wireless stable.
Trying is better than not doing anything.
