Archer C1200 v2 management interface and Wifi dies after a little while.

I've seen this issue reported by a couple of people already and some say upgrading firmware solves it.
The issue is that after a while the route still works, you can ping the web interface but don't even load loading page. Also the Wifi is visible but doesn't give any network access.
Rebooting the router solves the issue for a little while.
It seems like v2 of the C1200 is the only version that did not get a 2017 update, it is still on 2016-11-30.
Any chance to get a firmware update to fix this issue? it's plaguing my network and it is really annoying.

Hi All,
Following initial research and investigation, our Engineering Team is confident that they've determined one of the key origins of the issue. From what we have gathered so far, the issue appears to be related to some recent releases of Android OS and Google Apps. This issue stems from these devices' "Cast" feature, which sends MDNS multicast discovery packets in order to keep a live connection with Google products such as Google Home. These packets normally sent in a 20-second interval. However, we have discovered that the devices will sometimes broadcast a large amount of these packets at a very high speed in a short amount of time. This occurs when the device is awakened from the "sleep mode", and could exceed more than 100,000 packets in a short amount of time. The longer your device is in "sleep", the larger this packet burst will be. This issue may eventually cause some of router’s primary features to shut down – including wireless connectivity.

I've got hardware version 3(US) and have been running a new version of the firmware that I got from support about 9 days ago. It is running pretty much flawlessly. Contact support for a new firmware version if you are having these problems.

I bought C1200 four days ago. First two days it was working great. Now I had to reboot it twice, yesterday and today.
Before I bought this router I googled it, but not enough.
I have that C1200 v2 EU version. I updated that beta version of 2.0.1 software. Tomorrow I will see that, if this software is working better.
Let's hope that release version of software will available soon.

I have received the TP LINK support reply today.
Here are the beta versions for download:
The beta firmware for Archer C1200 hardware version 1 can be found here: http://support.tp-link.com/f/83ec721f22/?dl=1.
The beta firmware for Archer C1200 hardware version 2 can be found here: http://support.tp-link.com/f/afccc09878/?dl=1.
Regarding firmware upgrade procedure :
IMPORTANT: To prevent upgrade failures, please read the following before proceeding with the upgrade process
Please verify the hardware version of your device for the firmware version. Wrong firmware upgrade may damage your device and void the warranty. ( Normally V1.x=V1)
Do NOT turn off the power during the upgrade process, as it may cause permanent damage to the product.
Do NOT upgrade the firmware through wireless connection unless there is no LAN/Ethernet port on the TP-link device.

I contact tplink tech support, they told me that there will be a official firmware for version 3.

So what about V3? Is there a firmware update for V3 yet? Both V1 and V2 have official updates on the website, but nothing yet for V3.
If it's forthcoming very soon, I'll wait. Otherwise, I need to move on with my life and replace these (I have two C1200 V3s).

The beta firmware for Archer C1200 hardware version 1 can be found here: http://support.tp-link.com/f/83ec721f22/?dl=1.
1) C1200 v1 with this firmware is pretty stable, no random reboots.
2) However, IPv6 is still a little quirky. I noticed after a couple of hours, no IPv6 incoming or outgoing connections could be made even though IPv6 PPPOE was still connected.
3) I used to be able to get about 5-10% faster speeds with my previous wireless router on 2.4Ghz.
4) The iOS Tether app is unable to discover the router.
Shall continue monitoring.

I have problems with IPv6 also with that C1200 v2 beta software. Router doesn't get IPv6 address. Original (2.0) software it was working fine. But no need to reboot the router, yet.

I have the C1200 v1 router, but we just got new firmware and I've also lost my ipv6 connectivity. I don't get an address anymore with Comcast. The new firmware works fine, the old firmware worked fine, just no ipv6 anymore.
