Model : Deco M5

Hardware Version : v1.0

Firmware Version : v1.1.2

ISP : Windstream

After recently deploying a 3-unit set of Deco M5's in AP mode, I noticed a lot of router log spam from the DHCP subsystem, turns out the Deco units were constantly refreshing their DHCP leases.

My network is modem<-->router<-->switch<-->All the network gear (including the Deco's), so the Deco's are in a star configuration, each connected to a switch port. nothing else is connected to the deco's Ethernet.

More curious, only 2 of the units are doing this, the third unit is fine. All have been rebooted, they still exhibit this behavior. Logs from my router (Archer C7 running LEDE 17.01) attached.

There are 30+ other devices on this network, all handle DHCP fine.

Anyone else with AP mode units see this?

I had some other issue with my deco. I feedback to tp-link support. TPlink helped me out. Maybe you can send a feedback to them.
Tap on deco device, press on the three dots icon, you will see feedback.
