Cannot set up Chromecast to X60 network
Today suddenly my Chromecasts that were previously working via my X60 mesh network could not be connected to. I tried factory resetting them, and now I am having trouble setting them up again. During their setups, when it reaches the connection phase, it fails to connect to my WiFi network. I know it's the Deco's fault because they can connect to my separate Starlink WiFi and my base router's WiFi. The setup only fails when I tell them to use the Deco network.
Deco related troubleshooting I have done:
- updated firmware to most recent version
- restarted network
- confirmed I have my main Deco as as access point
- set my band to be only 2.4hz
Non-deco related trouble shooting
- restarted devices using Google home to setup the Chromecasts
- verified the devices are connected to the mesh network successfully
- factory reset Chromecasts
During the setup phase where the connection fails, I actually DO see the Chromecast as a device on the Deco. I have tried increasing its priority, turning off the mesh option, forcing it to use the main Deco, and forcing it to use the 2.4hz band. Nothing has worked.
Please help.
