I am purchasing the TP Link BE 9300 wifi 7 router for our main home router.

I have a set of three Deco AX 3000 mesh routers that I am removing to repurpose.

However, I would like to attach one of the AX3000 to an ethernet connection (already run and in use) down stairs in our guest place. yep I know it is wifi 6

Is the AX3000 compatible? Would I need to take the upstairs end of the ethernet and connect it to a port on the new BE9300? Or could I just connect it to an existing 8 port gigabit switch??
