Just bought an AX3000 access point and I wanted to check the firmware but there is a little bit of a conflict. The stickers on the box and te bottom of the device state that it is a version 1.6. But when I log into the device the administration software states that it is version 1.0. So why the conflict and what is the correct version number?
The correct HW version is on the device bottom sticker.
Keep in mind the following stated on the device support page:
IMPORTANT: Model and hardware version availability varies by region. Please refer to your TP-Link regional website to determine product availability.
Vx.0=Vx.6/Vx.8 (eg:V1.0=V1.6/V1.8)
Vx.x0=Vx.x6/Vx.x8 (eg:V1.20=V1.26/V1.28)
Vx.30=Vx.32 (eg:V3.30=V3.32)
