Firmware Version: 3.14.4 Build 131129 Rel.39318n

Hi My router keeps dropping internet. Though it says they provide upto 300 mbps. But max I have seen in 10 mpbs. The modem does provide 100 mbps on wired connection.

My question is can I upgrade the hardware? Will those physical parts available for sale? Also is the firmware that I am having - is that the latest? How can I upgrade the firmware?

It seems the hardware version of the WR841N is quite old, can I know its hardware version printed on the router label? Is it V9? If yes, then you can download and install the latest firmware on the router to see if that will help resolve the issue. Below is the download link:

After the firmware upgrade, you may reset the router and reconfigure it to see if it helps.
