Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I currently have a EERO router.

I want to replace it with a TP Link AC 1750

Archer C7 router.

I have a lot of devices attached to my network, including two TP Link antennas and a TP Link AC 1750 router in a building that's about a quarter of a mile away from my main TP Link router.

my question is how much reconfiguring do I have to do with all of the devices on my network if I was too replace the EERO router with the TP Link router.

I know when I set my system up it took quite a bit of work to get everything working properly and I do not want to go through all that again, but I would like to get rid of the EERO router.

Any help would be appreciated on this question.

  @Chuck767

Assuming the two routers have the same functions, you shoud not have much to do if you use the same settings, ssid and passwords.

note the some devices may not connect and you will need to delete (forget) the network and the readd them. Apple devices tend to have it happen but most devives work fine.
