Model: Archer AX21
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20230725 Rel. 55602(5553)

I have an Archer AX21 running in AP mode behind Archer AXE75 v1.0. I can occasionally connect my Directv streaming device at 250-300 mbps and it will last for a few minutes at best. Then it will drop down to around 70 to 80 Mbps and remain there. I can connect to a different Netgear Router that I have placed outdoors on 5g wifi and get 200+Mbps consistently in AP mode. I have read that I need to turn off QOS, but I see no option to do that in AP mode. I have also turned my WIFI power to low thinking thaat I could be overdriving since they are realitively close. It worked longer than normal I think at a high speed and I thought I had it fixed but no luck. Are there any other options that I can do?

I would think that it may be that you have WiFi interference. Maybe too much on one channel. Try setting the WiFi to different channels that are not next to each other.

@ArcherC8 tried and no luck. I have locked on every channel one at a time. Weirdly, it doesn't always start off fast, but when it does after a while it drops right back down.

It certainly appears that I am connected via WIFI faster than the router is feeding me.

If the incomming speed is that low them I would be reviewing the incomming signal such as the cables. You may have a bad cable or bad connection. While doing speed tests, move the cables to see if anything happens.

@ArcherC8 well, I think you got me! I looked at my Archer AXE75 and found this. When I first looked, port three was dead and port four was connected at 100 Mbps. I switched the two and now it is working as expected so far.
