If I may, can I please ask a question?

If I return the router I have (Archer BE550), and replace it with the following will this setup work? I ask because I honestly do not need a router with WiFi capability. 

Here's how I'm hoping to configure everything (if possible):

Lumos Fiber modem (ONT) > This Device > TP-Link 2.5 gbps Switch > Several Clients (all hardwired). I also intend to add my Google Mesh system to this device for WiFi (again, if possible).
