I have had an RE300 for a while, it will manage 215 down /166 up  if I stand right next to it off my  AT&T connection which via my router is around 500MB/sec. 

So not too bad.

I just added another extender, an RE315 (cheaper unit, but newer) down the other end of my house and it is weak. Even standing right next to it, it only manages about 80/50MB/sec

If anything, the RE315 is closer to the router than the RE300 but there's not much in it, both probably 25-30feet.

Any idea where the 867MB/sec claim has gone?
