I have used the AX6000 with no issues for 3 years. Recently I decided to set up an IOT, adding around 20 smart switches to my house. Since then, my 2.4 network keeps dropping almost daily, and only a restart will fix it. I understand interference, but how can I setup the router to restart the channel automatically when there are issues?

I do not know of any setting that will trigger a reboot on error. Most routers have the reboot schedule you can use most likely in advance/system settings. That may help.

Best if you disconnect all of those added units an put them back a few at a time to determine if one is causing the issue.

Also if using QoS, try turning it off.
