Some devices will only connect to guest network.
i have an S4 with three components.
cameras and smart tv only connect to guest network.
What are the disadvantages?
why is it doing this.

This is normally a result of the devices only supporting the 2.4Ghz Network. WE normally recommend that users connect these devices to their IoT network as it has increase compatibility with these types of devices. If you can see the device in your list of connected devices, you should be able to set a connection preference so that your device will only try to connect to the 2.4GHz network. Otherwise, you would need to disable mesh technology and beamforming which should help keep your device connected to the 2.4 network.
