Recent AX55 firmware requires frequent reboots
I downloaded this and installed it. There are frequent disconnects that require the router to be rebooted. It'd be nice to have a fixed version of the latest firmware.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
When the issue happens, all the client devices are still connected but no internet access, or some client devices disconnect completely and unable to reconnect?
Only wireless devices are affected or both wired and wireless devices?
In addition, the latest 1.2.5 firmware added something new, and to narrow down the issue, could you please help to confirm the following information?
1. Did you use parental control function before and after the firmware update?
2. Did you subscribe HomeShield Paid Service? If so, are you using App Block function and Access Control Whitelist?

I have same issue with wireless devices only. Reboot router, wireless devices work OK and then loose connection and unable to reconnect without reboot.

Thanks for your reply.
It's only some of the devices - most frequently the xbox and roku. Both wired. So maybe it's just those ports?
This has happened only once on a single wireless device - my phone. And that may have been unrelated as I didn't test it by restarting the phone.
Never used parental control - before or after.
Never subscribed to HomeShield.
Thanks again. Let me know if you need additional information.

I attempted a downgrade, but lost all connectivity until I put the latest in again. Is there some special method to downgrade that keeps my settings abd continues to work?

I did receive an email from TP-Link Support indicating I would be contacted by a senior engineer. Is that what you meant? Or should I expect further contact in other inbox?
Thanks.
