New Archer BE550 constant disconnects
So I got this new router and I am getting constant disconnects. Not just where my devices say no internet but where my devices get totally disconnected from the router and have to reconnect. Chatted with tech support who told me to change DNS primary and secondary to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 respectively (seems to be a common response which baffles me cuz that only changes it to Google's DNS servers when it's really a router problem). That helped a little but the disconnects are back. Then was told to disconnect the USB drive and see if that helps. No still the same. I get an email this morning telling me this tech support guy is going out of town beginning tomorrow and will be back Oct 6. Which is why I'm here. It's not my modem cuz I just got a new modem from Spectrum and the problem remains with both modems. I realize this is a new router on the first firmware version but right now it's unusable becuase of the lack of reliablity.

@yoshikun Try downgrading it to the previous fw then once up, try connect to the Internet, if works upgrade hr fw and again do a factory reset, if unable to connect to the Internet, download the old fw and flash it using a PC and Ethernet cable.

I just downgraded to 1.0.7 and apparently there aren't any issues anymore. Will wait for 1.0.9 hopefully they will patch the problems...

Awesome, glad it's working for you.
Too bad TP link software sucks and their support worse

It is better but now I get signals drop.. need to reconnect devices for them to perform well again. $30 routers never gave me such headaches

Is this problem now solved, I am thinking to buy the device, but does not look like a great decision reading this post.

@Filippo88888888 What did you do to fix the problem? I had an ASUS ET8 and just thought I was upgrading to a faster and better router but damn it constantly lags and disconnects for a few seconds. I have spoke with support a few times and they finally routed up to an engineer. It took them 3 days to email me and I immediately get them everything they request and 2 days later I get an email with a link to download a beta software and the link wont work. I might just say F it and tap out and just go buy a different one.

Is the latest firmware 1.0.11 stable when it comes to a reliable connection, lags, disconnects?
From what I have gathered, plenty of people have had issues down the road with basically all the wifi 7 Deco and Archer devices. Hopefully these issues are about history by now.
I have seen pretty good prices for BE550.
