I got this new AX3000 wi-fi 6 router about two days ago to replace my decade old Apple Airport Extreme Generation 5. The internet connection drops severly throughout the day even though I am using a wi-fi 6 ethernet cable. The Wireless connection is also a little patchy sometimes but not nearly as bad as the ethernet connection. In some games I played online my ping on the new router was always greater than 50 ping and jumped up to 200 ping sometimes, but on my decade old router I had a stable 20 ping that never went higher than 50 ping. Can someone let me know if I need to do some fine tuning on the router or something? Maybe a new ethernet cord?
