Hi. I have FIOS gigabit, and I'm experiencing "slow" download speeds over WiFi. On my phone using the Ookla app, my download speed sits at 500-550 while my upload is at 800+. My routers are connected in access point mode to the ISP provided gateway and are using wired backhaul. Why is this? How can I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Hi, How much Wi-Fi speed you could get if you are connected to the ISP-provided gateway?

If possible, please also test the Ethernet speed from Deco X95 to check whether Wi-Fi is the only issue.

Please also test with different speedtest servers in case there are some issues with the default server.

  @David-TP The ethernet speed into the decos are about 800/800, so the wifi should be similar, but it is not. The FIOS gateway doesn't support wifi 6, and I get about 440/530 on there. WiFi is usually left off on my gateway to ensure that the decos aren't bandwidth limited.
