I have experienced often intermittent connections when connected to my deco wifi. From 1 minute or more to send an iMessage, delayed push notifaction on my iPhone that would take up to 2-3 minutes to receive, and especially the latency issue with the connection from the deco wifi. I currently have a 300mbps speed and both my x60 and s4 are running the most recent firmwares, but still the issues persist. I'm pretty sure that it is due to the decos with the problems Im facing and not my iPhone. Compared to what I have in my other place that is a modem/router set-up no delays or issues when connected to that device. Could it be that my decos are faulty (which I doubt)? Software issues of the devices that needs a firmware update? Or the deco app that is unreliable and buggy at times? Please help.

  @Alros,

This sounds like there may just be a setting on your network that isn't working well with your iPhone. 

Have you been able to see the behavior on other devices on the network? If you have a wired device connected to the deco main unit, you can start a speed test to see if your latency is unexpectedly high.

 

Otherwise, I would look at some of the more advanced features for the network such as disabling Beamforming and disabling Fast Roaming.

 

You could also try disconnecting your satellite decos, to see if the latency behavior persists on just the main router.

  @Riley_S still does not work after disabling some features. Also facing issues inregards to wifi connection on devices showing no internet. Does the x60 need a new update or should I roll back the firmware I'm currently using which is the latest one?

  @Alros,

IF the issue is a high ping between your network and servers, the cause may then be the DNS server in use. I would recommend trying to change this to something more common such as Google's 8.8.8.8
