I tried searching but could not find any option.

Is there anyway to configure Deco using browser web interface on a computer rather than using the app alone?

  @TP-Link I would also like to express disappointment in the limited nature off the web interface.

I would FAR prefer to administer the router via my desktop, and don't have an M1 mac yet, so I'm kinda stuck with the web interface. I was shocked to discover how limited the settings there are compared to the iPhone app.

  @TP-Link I believe TP-Link should provide an identical web interface for configuration rather than tying it to just the phone app. If I were to assist someone with setup/configuration remotely, I currently cannot do that. Having a web interface accessible in a browser is essential. Phone app can be there in addition to the web interface but cannot or should not replace it.

  @DrGroove

correct, that is why it's a bad idea for TP-Link to just have a phone app alone

Hi, Deco has a web UI but the basic setup has to be done via Deco APP.

We have explained here why we prefer a mobile APP configuration and you could check it first.

Web UI Configuration

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

I have to agree with this statement. The limitations of the WebUI are pathetic and almost unusable. I have been messing with routers for dozens of years now and never had a router have such a terrible WebUI

  @oortcloud

Deco does not have a USABLE web interface.  This system is a toy for non technical users.  Deco expects you to stare st a tiny phone app to configure the device.

And WE have explained why WE do not want to use a phone to configure the deco. I am betting your developers do not use phones to write code. Give us a working web interface and let the “routers for dummies “ users keep the phone app.
