TL-SG108 Not Working with Deco M5
I have a Deco M5 and a TL-SG108 unmanaged switch. My two devices plugged into the switch will not connect to the internet. However, they do work if I disconnect the switch and plug one in at a time to the deco. I've replaced the cable between the deco and the switch and even the switch with another TL-SG108 to no avail. I can't believe that I have 2 bad switches. Is there a setting on the deco that's specific for the TL-SG108?
My topology: Cable modem > Deco M5 > TL-SG108

Hi,
If TL-SG108 is connected behind one of the satellite Deco M5, will the devices get internet service from the switch? Or the issue only occurs to the main Deco M5?
If only from the main Deco, please refer to this link and check whether you have enabled the IPTV on the main Deco.
While if no IPTV is enabled, please help me check the IP address when the devices are connected to the TL-SG108:

The Deco in question is the main one. The ethernet on the Deco works fine. The problem is with the SG108 switch. I have power and activity lights but there seems to be no internet connection at the switch.
I've tried different cables and multiple switches.

That might be quite strange.
Are you convenient to help me check the IP settings on the devices when connected to the switch?
Have you tried to put the switch behind one of the satellite units to see whether it would work?
May I know who is your internet service provider?

Yes,
IP one: 192.168.68.120
IP two: 192.168.68.121
I tried swapping decos with the switch and devices with the same results.

--If possible, would you mind sending me some pictures of the IP settings on your devices?
And are you able to see these two devices on the online list of Deco APP when they are connected to the switch?
(It occurred to me that have you ever tried to add any devices on the blacklist?)

1. What are these two devices, normal computers?
2. except for these two devices, are there any other devices that are connected to the switch? And did they all have the same issue?

After consulting your case with the engineers, they wish you could help me confirm the following information:
1. the model number of the switch Is TL-SG108, the unmanaged switch, not SG108E, or other smart switches with advanced features, right?
2. did the two solar inverters use static IP addresses, or did they get IP addresses via DHCP?
3. Since there is a large possibility that the switch might be broken, could you please refer to this link to check whether the switch is well or not:

1) Yes, the switch is a TL-SG108
2) The inverters use DHCP and they work fine when plugged into the Deco but not the switch.
3) At this point I don't have a computer with ethernet capability to perform the switch test.
4) I have however replaced the switch once with another TL -SG108 and I also tried an a Netgear switch and had the same problem.

If you are willing to spend around $15 you can get a USB to Ethernet adapter from Amazon. That should allow your laptops to plug into the switch and then you can ping or do other troubleshooting.

I understand and will purchase one.
But it seems strange that 3 different switches are behaving the same way.
