Model: TL-MR3420
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.16.9 Build 160412 Rel.45197n

I need to be able to configure TL-MR3420 (EU) to Auto Reboot to specify a time when the router will reboot automatically.

I did do the steps given ( https://www.tp-link.com/ae/support/faq/1992/ ) but my router does not have " Auto reboot " option and as mentioned in TP-Link web support !!!!

how can we activate this option ??  Is there a firmware that needs to be installed ? If yes, please provide me with the link . . .

I did contact TP-Link ( Middle East ) technical support team, but they are slow and useless . . They told me to contact my ISP  :(

@Louie67

The FAQ that you reference is for the TL-MR3420 hardware version 5. Your device is the TL-MR3420 hardware version 3 so the feature that you want is not available to your hardware, you need version 5 of the hardware (the physical device).

No, if you try that you run the risk of bricking your router.
