So I have a firestick 4K and heavily use a IPTV and the latency with my old nighthawk was averaging 8.75 and now that I have this system the latency averages 11. Yes the download speed is faster but that is not what I was looking for as various channels lag and that is what I am trying to get rid of and since I can't run cables I was hoping this mesh system was going to fix it all....sadly it did not. Can I plug the firestick network adapter directly into one of the access points and lower the latency?

Speed wise I was averaging 256 down with my nighthawk and these are giving me closer to 470 down. That is great, but doesn't help with latency or end user experience when watching 4K movies.

I have one plugged directly into the ATT modem on 2nd floor, centrally located. The other one is wifi connected on the 1st floor next to main TV on the fireplace mantel. The 3rd on is wifi connected on the 1st floor back in the master bath.

You could wire directly to one of the satellite Deco nodes. You could also run an Ethernet cable from the main node to any of the satellite units. There is no additional configuration needed, once you connect one Deco to another it will automatically revert to an Ethernet backhaul.
