When turning on the HS220 dimmer, it goes from dim to bright and then goes off for a fraction of a second and then back on to full. This happens with two fixtures, a chandelier with 5 dimmable LED bulbs and a dimmable integrated LED fixture. The LED integrated fixture replaced an old ceiling fan with three candelabra LED bulbs that worked fine and did not blink.
Also, to avoid the annoying blink, is it possible to set the dimmer so the "Instant" setting for single button press is actually instant? If I set Double Press to "Instant On" it turns on full without blinking but instant for the standard setting still does a very quick transition from dim to full and has the blink.

Unfortunately, I think the chances of a fix on this particular issue are next to none, despite having a very easy solution if the firmware developers would get to work. This issue has been brought up multiple times and there has been no resolution or acknowledgement of the issue at hand. I've since preordered some Inovelli Blue switches and am patiently waiting for their release.
Honestly though, for the price. What can we expect really.
Edit: See the feature request of adding a maximum brightness feature, instead of only minimum brightness for calibration. This would be the solution.
