Confirming if principle layout would work for us with Deco (and which model fits best...)
Dear Community,
I've tried to confirm from specifications, reviews and articles, but cannot be absolutely sure if my intended layout would work.
Could somebody with more experience confirm if the layout sketched below would work with Deco. I would prefer this configuration, using the ethernet as the backhaul. I already have the switches in place as I have all stationery devices connected with Ethernet.
Also any advice which Deco model might be right for us. Downstairs is a L-shaped apartment with about 100 m2 while the upstairs is smaller, about 40 m2.
The living room is in the other end of the "L", the bedroom on the opposite end (distance between maybe about 13-15 m). At least currently the Apple TimeCapsule can't sufficiently provide the bedroom end from the living room (I suspect the concrete walls in between). Upstairs has a bad reception, even if it is right above the living room. The internet router is in storage room, which is not optimal location for the main node (concrete walls all around). We have a star schema CAT5E cabling from the storage room to each room, but in most rooms just one socket.
Many thanks already in advance. If I was missing some part of relevant info above, kindly ask for details.
Jukka
