Archer CR700 dropping Wifi several times per day
Hardware Version : Not Clear
Firmware Version : v1.0.5 Build 20150925 Rel338940
ISP : RCN
My Wifi drops several times per day now (it's getting worse). Usually, a simple turn off-turn on is enough to bring it back, but I just can't do it several times per day...
What can I do? I purchased it in July last year.
Network and cable connections work great.

@nicoDuDC I have exact same problem.
Device: Archer CR700(US) V2
Software: Firmware Version: v1.1.0 Build 20160812 Rel515810 Hardware Version: V1.1
Internet Provider: Comcast
I experience the problem more on the laptop that has no 5g, the phones in my experience work better but they too drop wifi connection occasionaly.
Wired LAN connection has no such problem whatsoever.

@nicoDuDC I have also been having this problem. I changed the channel to 11 and selected 20HZ and now it hasn't been completely dropping but it's been horribly slow. I teach lessons over zoom and it has been extremely disruptive. please help!

Hi @nicoDuDC,
I see that you are having problem with your Wifi and as you mentioned that it is dropping several times a day. So, can you please you post your system's config?
Here's how - Settings > Maintenance > Support Info > Show System Config
Does the SSIDs drop?

@Mika_Hawkins I also have the same problem since buying this modem, I have the same exact setup as the last comment, what do you mean does SSID drop? Like the WiFi name fully disappear? No, the WiFi networks are still there, but only 5Ghz network will work, 2.4Ghz network constantly drops and my devices say can't connect. Doesn't work until I go into modem settings and turn off 2.4Ghz radio, and then turn back on. I have tried changing the channels the network is running on, nothing really changed. Why is the 2.4Ghz network dropping SOO MUCH?! LITERALLY several times per day, is this modem model just not reliable and why it's not being supported or sold anymore?! Wish I would've knew this before buying! Paid $90 for this, could've got another one. Luckily most my devices can connect to 5Ghz but some can't and extremely annoying to have to restart modem several times a day like OP mentioned.
