Why does my DNS in windows 10 show my gateway address?

Why does my DNS in windows 10 show my gateway address?

If I set them manually they show correctly, but when set to "obtain automatically" it shows the gateway only?
If its set manually you will see exactly what the DNS is ...ie: 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 example.
So I have open DNS set in my router as the DNS, so why when I do an ipconfig/all is it show my DNS as 192.168.0.1(gateway?)
