Hi,

 

My tapo camera went offline a number of days ago, so I followed the guidance to remove it from the app and re-add it. Trouble is the app now can't find it at all. All the camera does is flash red (lost count of how many times I've reset it). Tapo_Cam isn't coming up on the phone either. 
 

What have I missed?

Hi,
You can check if the following steps are helpful.


  1. Please turn off the camera, wait for 10 minutes, turn on it, and wait for another two minutes.  
  2. Press the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to factory reset it. If the LED is flashing red and green, you can try to reconfigure it.

  3. If the LED does not respond to the reset operation, it may be the camera has an issue. You can try to contact your retailer or our local team to check if the camera is under warranty.
