Can't add camera to plan

I just started a subscription.
However, I'm unable to add the camera to my plan.
If I go to My Tapo > Select camera, there's just an empty list.
I can see the camera in my home page and I'm perfectly able to watch the live stream.
I've tried everything, rebooting the app, my phone, removing and readding the camera, nothing worked. I'm considering cancelling my plan.
Please advise.
PS notably, this camera is already part of my partner's plan. Is that what is preventing me from adding it to mine too? In which case, how can I access the recordings on my phone?

From your description, it seems the Tapo C225 is shared by your partner, and you are not the owner of this camera.
If this is the case, the camera is unable to join the Tapo Care plan subscribed under your TP-Link account. The shared account has limited access to the camera, and it's unable to access the cloud video clips, however, it can access the video recordings stored on the SD card inserted into the camera.

Yes the camera device was shared by my partner.
Then my question is: would it be possible to add the camera to my devices via the regular process instead of via sharing? In short this boils down to: can a same camera have multiple owners?

Hi,
1. A Tapo camera can be bound to a TP-Link account only, and it can only have an owner account.
2. If you want to add the camera to your account, you need to factory reset the camera and then reconfigure it on the Tapo app after you log into the Tapo app with your TP-Link account.
