Tapo C320ws
Hi,
Could you please add an option in the alarm settings for specific events? I’m currently unable to do this myself, as I have set detection for multiple events. While I am receiving notifications for specific events without issue, I need the alarms to be triggered only for certain events.
If this feature is not available yet, could you kindly add it? If there’s a workaround to set this up, I would appreciate any guidance.

Hi,
If your camera does not support the feature to select the Event type on the Alarm feature but supports the Play Sound Action on the Smart Action > Automation page, please add an Automation entry to let the camera play sound when detecting specific events.

@Solla-topee Hello, the C320WS does not have the option to play sounds with automations. That is very disappointing. This should be implemented. I do not want the alarm to sound on motion detection triggered by bugs or trees moving, but for human detection.

Please update the Tapo C320WS's firmware to the latest one and check if it helps.
If you have a Tapo C320WS V1 and the firmware is the latest one(v1.3.11), we suggest waiting for the new firmware patiently, which may support the requested features.

Hi,
I have a C320WS V2 and I've noticed that it doesn't support the alarm detection type for human detection. The alarms trigger for all motion, including things like crossing lines, but there's no option to set it just for human detection. I'm on the latest firmware (1.2.2), but this feature still isn't available.
Also, the human detection on this model is really poor. I've been in touch with your team for the last month, and even after trying a beta firmware, the issue persists. Could you please look into improving the human detection and adding the option for alarm detection based on human detection?
